This is going to be a month requiring ‘grassroots’ change. This isn’t about starting a new workout regime or healthy eating plan; it’s about listening to the core rhythms within yourself and acting in alignment with them. There will be obvious moments when you must consciously decide between the easy option and the one that’s in-keeping with your gut and your standards. It’s time for you to become choice-aware, to actively see them and to make them. This requires a strength void of victim mentality. It means you’ll go against the grain, that you may experience discomfort, but it’s time to start [or continue] to build that muscle.
Questions to ask yourself this month: If there were a famine of peace, where would I go to eat? Where did I last find peace?
Start setting the standard for your protection this New Year. This can look like cleansing your home, buying new crystals, wearing jewellery that feels sacred, beginning a meditative practice, or breaking some unhelpful patterns.
Continue to rest – don’t buy into the paradigm that says New Year is all go-go-go. Set your own rhythm from month one.
Last note: Have patience with the world, it may move at a different pace from yours.
