Stop comparing yourself to other people.

I know, it’s the most natural thing to do.
But guess what, it’s also not the most natural thing to do.

There is duality in all things and you can make the choice.
When you stop comparing yourself, you take back your power.
You stop providing breathing space to shadows and beliefs that tell you you’re not good enough, that you have to learn more, be more.
You stop staring at the external.
You stop allowing your life force to leak out, as though it doesn’t matter.

I spent many years trying to catch up. Trying to catch up constantly because I was behind, always behind someone that I thought was doing better.
For years I continued to compare, to keep running the race against her, him, that person up ahead, who I barely knew.

It was a fight that buried itself so deeply inside me, that I thought it was my true self.

When I finally did the work, had the session, challenged the beliefs at their roots, that’s when I saw more clearly what I did have.

Tell me, what do you have?
You, standing alone in a room, what do you have when no one else is there, watching, judging.

That’s what you need to focus on.
That is where your mastery is.
